Nah, thats just our homie Evidence working on his new album, ‘Cats & Dogs’ with Rahki (DJ Khalil Prod.)
and Bravo (Sid Roams). Due out later this year, we know this album will live up to all the hype, especially
with these two producers at the helm.
Every summer, our friend Alchemist gets a visitor in the form of a teenage skate rat named, Tshaka or Little P.
What you don’t know, is that Little P is the son of incarcerated Mobb Deep member, Prodigy, who is currently
doing a 3 year bid for gun possession. Currently living on the east coast, Little P comes out here for a few weeks
every year to soak up the sun, chase girls, and skate the venice streets. The other day in the studio, he had this
epiphany that he wanted to rap, we figured that it was only right to throw up an instrumental and let him go in…
coincidentally, 10 mins later he took off on his board to go skate with his friends. Damn kids. Free Prodigy.
here is a screen shot from the cutting room of Evidence’s new video featuring Fashawn, “Same Folks”.
Check them out rocking the Diamond x Matix headphones in Venice Beach. I only have one question for you, “Do you like hip-hop?”
Our friend, super-producer, and longtime Diamond affiliate, DJ Khalil, sits down with MTV new to discuss producing a majority of Eminem’s latest project, ‘Recovery’. If you aren’t already familiar, Khalil has produced joints for the likes of 50 Cent, Fabolous, The Clipse, Jay Electronica, Drake, The Game, & even the legendary Dr. Dre, making him one of the most sought after producers in all of hip hop. Check him out here, rocking the Diamond Supply Co. ‘Gingham’ button down.
